Nutrition counselling for food sensitivities, histamine intolerance, SIBO, and candida

In our 1:1 nutrition coaching sessions, I will make an in depth assessment of your health history, create a comprehensive protocol and provide solutions and nutritional info for a better understanding of your state.
Whether struggling with a sluggish digestion, bloating, hives, fatigue, and more, the problem start in your gut. We’ll address your dietary needs, lifestyle, sleep, and stress, with emphasis on digestive health. I will provide you with a delicious and nourishing list of recipes and extra resources to target deficiencies and cravings as we continue addressing the root of your concerns.

1:1 functional nutrition coaching sessions online take place on Doxy. I’ll do an intake, a thorough history of your current state, discuss your challenges (sensitivities, allergies, skin irritation, infections, bloating, fatigue, chronic and short term symptoms), and examine your deficiencies, diet, and lifestyle to find the culprit behind your gut and health concerns. This is a root cause approach. I will create a personalized nutrition plan including recipes, foods, or supplement recommendations that would kickstart your recovery, as we learn more about your situation and take steps forward. We will meet regularly to track your progress and make adjustments as needed.

Functional Nutrition Coaching

What’s Included:

Starting investment: $575 + HST for a package of 4 sessions on Doxy
75 min intake first session, and three follow up sessions 30 minute each.

Each follow up session outside the package is $110 + HST per 30 mins
45 min sessions are $140 each + HST

Initial session of 75 mins: Medical history, history assessment and goal setting. This where you’ll be given a one week observational period tracking what you eat, any symptoms, your mood, sleep quality, bowel movement, and hydration. I’ll give you a starting guide on your situation, whether histamine intolerance, or food sensitivities, the protocols are catered to YOUR unique situation, goals, and needs. There’ll be a supplement and nutrition guide on specific food groups, what to bring in, what to avoid and how to repair your gut using the premises of functional nutrition. You will also be given a meal plan, food guide, and how to shop for your meals.

Follow up sessions every 10 days to 2 weeks: You’ll be provided with nutritional science info, a diet plan, resources, and more. We’ll check in since your new protocol and diet modification and assess what’s working and what’s not. We’ll make adjustments and assess how you’re responding to the new plan, what’s improving, and what needs to change. This is where we integrate some lifestyle practices as well as your new dietary changes.

I will need you to also bring in any recent lab tests or ask your family physician/ND to provide specific lab tests that can give us more data to work with.

I will track your blood sugar, motility, and sleep as well as your other GI, hormonal, or skin related symptoms or flare ups. We will adjust your nutrition plan accordingly.

These are your coaching sessions so bring your questions and points of concern for nutrition coaching. Every question and step counts!

Based on our observations, we’ll continue with the same plan or modify your treatment to support gut healing and sustained energy for lasting results. This is a personalized process and varies case by case. There will be a re-evaluation at the one month point in order to continue the current plan or move on to a the next stage as needed.

By no means are these sessions to be replaced with medical advice in case of emergency. This is an integrative approach to supporting you as you move towards your health goals.

My intake forms are thorough and meant to go deeper into your health and family history, as well.

Also anyone who needs accountability, tune ups, and support managing their health conditions while needing tips and guidance can immensely benefit from our sessions together. I hold space, intervene, and give you solutions and ideas as you navigate existing symptoms. I give a structured protocol that is open to changing according to your needs and progress.
